Happy Birthday, Sally!
Wow! I thought you were mid- to upper 40’s but thinking about it, it’s probably because of your open-mindedness and refusal to be pigeon-holed into one fashion type. I’ve always thought that was something that wasn’t fully developed until well into middle age but I guess I should take a lesson from you and not try to assign certain ages with certain behaviours.
All this to say Happy Birthday!
So young! So smart! So lovely! Have a very Happy Birthday, Sally! And thanks for writing such a fantastic blog. Even this old dog can learn new tricks. 😉
Wow, I just stumbled on your blog and it is a goldmine! Happy 36th, I turn 34 this year, am starting a new job this week, and really want to start dressing better. I work in tech in southern california and it’s very very casual (read: if i wear anything other than jeans, I’d get asked if I had some dinner plans). I’ve loved it, but I’m also realizing that it makes me look younger and less experienced than I actually am, and want an update.
Love your blog because your style is beautiful, simple and just what I’m looking for. Thanks!
Happy Birthday Sal! Have a wonderful day.
Happy birthday, Sally! Hope your day is the best!

Happy Birthday Sally!
Happy belated birthday, Sally! You’re glowing. 🙂
Belated “Happy Birthday” wishes, Sally!!!! Hope you had a wonderful day.
Dear Sally, happy birthday. You’re really gorgeous! I am turning 42 this year. Oh god. I actually wouldn’t mind, except for the crows feet and lines on my nose when I squint or smile (I think they’re called bunny crunch lines or wolf lines). Sigh. I just found your lovely generous blog while researching the Clarisonic Mia. I really liked your review! I can’t believe you clean with oil though. Claris skin care tried that one on me in early, vulnerable, 20s, when I was desperate, and had no internet (it didn’t exist in any form anyone like me could access), no information, and no idea how to look after my oily prone skin. Never again! A few years ago I discovered the resource that is the on line website for the company Paula’s Choice. Fabulous skin care information and advice and reviews. Fabulous products too, if anyone is interested. I use a large array of her products, mixed in with other things she’s recommended (ie a water soluble, gentle neutropenia cleanser) and some prescription things too (renova and an antibiotic gel with benzoyl peroxide). My skin is the best it’s ever been, but I’m still going to try the Clarisonic. A dermatologist on the Paula’s Choice radio show called Debra Jaliman recommended it, and I know some of the Paula’s Choice staff use it too. I hope you have a wonderful time being 36 years old!
Sorry about the typos for Clarins and Neutrogena in my previous post! It’s hard to type on this little iPhone!
I hope you had a wonderful birthday! I started reading your blog in the middle of last year and I still love it. We have a similar style, especially skirts and cool boots and similar body shapes. I am so surprised that you are only a week older than me – you definitely have got it altogether and that inspires me 🙂
