My usual online shopping haunts over the past 3 years since starting Curves Become Her have not been as varied as I like them to be but thankfully more stores are getting savvy with providing worldwide shipping and that means more variety for the wardrobe! This outfit of the day look is a neat combination of some of these brands.
This is not a look I typically wear and experimenting is just so much fun! I am still discovering my particular style aesthetic; I suppose you can call it eclectic for now. Which makes so much sense since that is the general consensus with my varied taste in things I love such as books, movies, music. I get such a kick out of the look of surprise from people when they have trouble fitting me into a little pigeonhole. Labels, labels, labels, how utterly boring!
Split-Front Tunic – Society + (formerly known as Cool Gal Blue)
Kimberley Leggings (sold out) – Rue 107
Statement necklace – Lovisa
Turquoise flats – thrifted
I seem to have developed a liking for long tunics and this pop of blue was just what I needed in my already very-colourful wardrobe 🙂 This was part of the collection by Natalie Hage, whose style I love immensely. Society + is affordable and fashionable, and I love that fellow bloggers are invited to curate collections for the brand.
Rue 107 is one of my favourite plus size stores that I have started shopping from as of this year. These psychedelic leggings were too cute to pass up on.
I tried something a little different with lipstick this time round. Bought my first Jeffree Starr liquid lipstick in the shade Blue Velvet. I am absolutely sold on these pigmented lipsticks.
I hope you’re having a beautiful weekend, enjoy your season of Fall/Spring (depending on where you are). Me? I’ve got the hazy air on this humid island to beat!

Having struggled with ‘weighty’ issues most of my life, I made the decision to stop hating my body and to embrace it when I turned 30. Curves Become Her is where I talk about plus size fashion, being body positive, encourage female empowerment, and share personal anecdotes.
I am a first generation Singaporean with Indian origins. My academic background is in psychology and psychotherapy. I consider myself a writer, feminist, and activist aside from being a plus size blogger.
