Dressed for: New York Flashbacks

Already Pretty outfit featuring utility jacket, Brooklyn Industries graphic tee, skinny black pants, black ankle boots, Burberry trench coat

Jacket – thrifted – similar – sustainable
Tee – Brooklyn Industries (organic cotton)
Coated denim skinnies – J.Brand via eBay
Boots – Parnu courtesy ECCO
Bag – Sharo – same bag in tansustainable
Earrings – Adriana Soto
Coat (below) – Burberry via eBay

My dear friend Tehilah sneakily bought me this shirt while I was trying stuff on at Brooklyn Industries. (We spent a week in New York back in October, a few photos on Instagram.) I was surprised to find that most of the items in the store were made in Peru, not, ya know, Brooklyn. But this tee is organic cotton and screen-printed in New York, so it checks two boxes.

Another recent acquisition is this trench, bought gently used on eBay for 90% off retail. No lie. Even though the wool liner makes it weigh about 87 pounds, I love that I can wear it into winter. Kinda my dream coat.
