Plaid and leather can definitely be a punk-y combination, especially if we’re talking red and black buffalo plaid with black leather. But due to a warmer color palette this look is a little more Fancy Lady Lumberjack, I think. I wonder if THAT look will ever be trendy …

A year later, I’m still so excited to have scored this leather jacket on eBay. It’s originally from Victoria’s Secret, and surprisingly soft and well-made in addition to being that perfect shade of cognac. Oh, cognac. I may never drink you, but I sure do love to wear you.

Can you tell I’m feeling a little scattered this week? It’s like Brain Popcorn in here.
