When Kristin and I met up for a shopping date a few weeks back, she gave me this lovely reversible silk obi. She made it herself, which just adds to its existing reservoir of awesome. I love that it allows me to pair navy and red without looking like a sailor wannabe.

I LOVE that you basically match the tree behind you! What a monochromatic IMPACT!
🙂
That obi is beautiful! She has mad skills! And you look absolutely tiny in it! (not that you don't ALWAYS! it's just VERY flattering!)
Did you and the tree coordinate your outfits? Was there a memo?
That obi looks great, and it is fun that you match the tree.
That is a gorgeous obi! I love how all the shapes and lines are working together in this outfit. It's like all the pieces were made to be worn together.
(And the plants behind you are gorgeous too!)
That bolero is so boobs-fab! And I love the obi Kristin gave to you. Beautiful outfit.
I love this outfit! I would wear it for sure.
It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside to see you wearing, and rocking the heck out of, that belt, babe! I haven't worn mine on the stripey side yet, and this look is just perfect for it. Hugs!
Gorgeous outfit!!
I love a good pop of red! And look at those trees behind you, it makes me want to move into your neighborhood ASAP.
Your hair looks great by the way!
Such a lovely combination of reds and navy. And you definitely don't look like a sailor!
I'm digging your new hair cut!
You look gorgeous, as always, but I particularly like the obi belt! Oh, and I've been meaning to post that I love the new hair — unintentional as it was, it looks great!
I love this nautical-inspired look on you! The diagonal stripes in the obi tie the whole look together (pun intended).
The obi is gorgeous and I love your bolero fastener too.
That obi belt is sheer awesomeness. There's no other word for it. You look so great wearing obi belts.

Wow, that obi is awesome!
That obi is awesome, the fabric makes me think of men's ties, which is so fun in such a feminine piece! That Kristin is one talented and generous lady!
You look fabulous and make me want to be brave and wear red! I may just have to try more than a purse…which is about all I am brave enough to do.

That obi is fantastic – I love how wide it is. It's gorgeous with red and navy, too!
That obi is just gorgeous! I can see it becoming a wardrobe staple for you.
Gorgeous obi, great dress and wonderful cardigan. All made even better by a beautiful tree in the background. One of your best yet Sal.
Glad to see the Jessica Howard red bolero in play! I still wear mine all the time, even though the dress now languishes in my closet.
That navy sheath dress is gorgeous – and rare, no? (I mean, the colour's rare, not the gorgeousness of it on you.)
As many above have already said: all these beautiful pieces come together to create platonic ideal of awesomeness in this ensemble.
UM YOU LOOK AMAZING.
You look gorgeous in the red color, Sal! And that belt is super sharp – love it!
