Black turtleneck dress, thrifted – similar

Red sweater tunic, bought in Iceland – similar
Black leggings, Target
Black moto boots, John Fluevog Heidi

I COULD NOT RESIST sneaking this one in. My Iceland sweater tunic! Warm! Perfect with moto boots! Ideal for lounging around all day and then gorging myself on heavy food!

I’ve never been a huge fan of ornately-patterned or Fair Isle-style sweaters, but I saw Icelanders of nearly every age, style, and body shape rocking these pups when we visited Iceland in August, and felt compelled to nab one for myself. I passed on the traditional browns, blacks, and grays in favor of this red and purple mash-up. Yum.

Ooh that tunic looks snuggly warm and cosy! And I love it with the boots – what a great combo. But again, I want to come over there and put twenty more layers on you! Having never lived where it snows, I guess I have no idea what it's like but it just looks. so. cold I want to see you piled up in coats and hats and scarves and gloves!

I wore a tunic and leggings today too – to make room for all the turkey! You look great. đŸ™‚

That looks nice and warm. Wishing I could add in some chunky knits now it's snowing here but I didn't add any to my 30 for 30. Or any practical boots. So I won't be looking this warm and stylish any time soon. đŸ™‚

Gorgeous! The perfect outfit to make you look lovely and stylish but being comfortable enough to eat tons of tasty food.

    Happy Thanksgiving.

Super cute! That outfit really flatters your figure. The sweater is just fitted enough to show your waist. Your thrifting is inspiring me. When do you find the time???

Misfits Vintage: Hahaha, believe me, we were outside for about 4 minutes before racing back inside! I've got a down coat, big mittens, and plenty o' scarves for actual wintry outings.

The UK isn't too cold at the moment, first signs of frost here in Leeds but not too bad: but I am envious of all that wonderful snow! (I love snow!) Looking at this outfit now before I go to work genuinely made me smile and think of jolly holidays after what has been a busy week and a slightly irritating morning. So thank you and Happy Thanksgiving for yesterday (?)

Yaknow, we should teach you to knit. That way you can have fair isle in any combination of colors, length you want.
As for the snow, keep it! I love the fact that we're in short sleeves today.
    Sending Warm thoughts your way.

What a great way to style a traditional Icelandic sweater! I love the colors and the fact that you got a dress instead of the typical pullover.

Gorgeous, I’m leaving for Iceland tomorrow night and was hoping to find just that – a red, warm, Icelandic sweater, but I like tunic sweaters even better. Can you tell me where you found yours? And what kind of price I should expect to pay?

I think I bought this at a shop in downtown Reykjavik, and it cost about $150. But it’s been a while!
