If you can believe it, this outfit began as an emerald green button-front shirt and the mustard version of this same skirt. That outfit probably would’ve looked fab without tights, but I just couldn’t find a pair that looked right. So about seven swap-outs later, we have this – same skirt shape, same belt and boots, totally different color scheme.
This scarf has cats all over it. I try to avoid collecting items with cats all over them, but they seem to sneak into my home and wardrobe. These cats are like little cat-ghost hybrids anyway, so they don’t make me feel too cat-lady-esque. Not yet anyway.

This cat lady would definitely wear a cat print scarf if I found one!
I have to ask – what kind of boots are those (other than the awesome kind)?
Oh my gosh! I forgot to include my boots! They’re BCBGeneration Doris from a few years ago. I’ll put a link to similar right now. Sorry.
LOL, I wore that exact skirt today, with black tights, frye boots, a Boden striped knit top and a hoodie sweater.
I’m not even a cat person, but I would wear that scarf!
LOL – I think your cat scarf is the perfect addition to you outfit!
This is such a cute way of incorporating what could otherwise be a “too-young” print.
You are looking so great, so chic these days! I think your hairdo inspired you to a whole new level.
The scarf if the perfect final touch for your lovely outfit! Did you cut your hair again, or are my eyes playing tricks on me? It looks fabulous nonetheless!
This is a very LOVELY look on you! Love the scarf and the boots! Can’t wait to see the other “substitute” outfit!
Cute scarf! I like how they’re car ghosts. Definitely an awesome thing. 🙂
I love multiple swap out outfits. They’re equally fun and frustrating to create!
The cat scarf is wonderful, I love it very much. You have such great, quirky taste!
I love the kitty scarf.
Great outfit, but I really LOVE your short haircut! Looks marvelous!

This is a lovely look! Simple, but really pretty. And I don’t really like cats, but I DO like that scarf! I’m a sucker for pretty much anything with animals on it. (Case in point: I don’t like spiders, but somehow I managed to acquire a spider necklace, and I wear it all the time.)
I love the cat scarf too. I am an animal person and a proud crazy cat lady BUT since the term has acquired negative connotations due to a few (male? woman-bashing?) jackwagons out there, I prefer to call myself a “purrmudgeon”. 😉 Love your outfit, Sal!
Purrmudgeon – I LOVE IT!
