Daily Outfit: 7/4/11

Already Pretty Outfit 7/4/11 featuring magenta tank top

Magenta tank,  Old Navy (ages ago) – similar
Shorts, thrifted – similar shape
Shoes, Tsubo Manti courtesy Tsubo
Bracelets, Bibelotmore stretch bracelet sets
Earrings, Swirly Keen courtesy April Kawaoka

This has got to be the most casual outfit I’ve ever posted to the blog. But hey, it’s the 4th of July! When else am I gonna do flip flops and a tank? Plus check out the flip flops:

Not exactly $3 shower shoes, are they? Normally I LOATHE having anything between my toes, but something about the design of these Tsubos makes it tolerable. They’re fantastically comfy in every way and I’m thrilled it’s finally warm enough to wear ’em.

Hope all you Americans had a lovely holiday, and we’ll be back to regular posting tomorrow!

It may be the most casual, but it seems perfect for a low-key Fourth of July barbeque.

This post makes me so happy! When I saw it my first thought was “Wow, she looks so… normal.” Not that you look abnormal other days of course :P, but I think I subconsciously get stuck in this awestruck attitude that you & all the other fabulous fashion bloggers out there are so amazingly creative that I would never see a fashion blogger wearing something I would throw on. This is a great reminder that everyone, even those with the most unique & creative senses of style, can appreciate shorts, flip flops, and a tank. Although of course you rock those colors & the unique take on “flip flops” :D.

You and Kasmira are on the same wavelength today! Nearly identical outfits. Although the Tsubos make me swoon. Much better than flipflops. Sandals with some substance. Happy 4th! Hope you got to do something fun today.

oh, I absolutely hate having stuff between my toes too!
I started slowly trying to get over it in order to wear flip-flops at the beach, but damn, at the beginning it felt like my toes were getting molested :p
