This outfit will do three jobs today. I wore it to to the office, of course, where it generated many shoe-related comments. Now HM and I are off to RAW: Natural Born Artists where I plan to walk around looking awkward and lost. And after that, we’re headed to Psycho Suzi’s to meet up with a dear old friend who’s in town for a wedding.
Doesn’t all that sound GLAMOROUS? Believe me, we are virtually never this social. I expect us both to be dazed and sleepy tomorrow since we’re gonna be out waaaaay past bedtime tonight.
Gah, I’m so stodgy.

Stodgy, vous? Impossible! Love the flashes of yellow in this look. I want those shoes, but they are a little $$$ right now – I will continue to look for their twins.
Your shoes are simply amazing. Love them!
ha! I had pretty much the same color scheme today. I wore a silver dress with flowers on it, a magenta shrug, and mustard-colored wedges.
I, too, would make an outfit around those shoes and that necklace! Gorgeous.
Oh man, purple and yellow together like this is totally fabulous!
Love this! My fave is how you put together the yellow necklace with the shoes. Your shoes are always so unique. They’re awesome! I just love the whole thing. 🙂
Those shoes are so cool. Love your inspired outfit.
Those shoes are glorious!!
I love this outfit, love the shoes and your haircut is super cool:)
That sounds like a fun day, and I am loving those shoes.
I’ve always thought that “button down” refers to a shirt with a buttoned down collar. Very traditional. The use of the term to refer to a shirt which buttons down the front is very new to me. Have you researched the term?
By the way, this ensemble looks great on you and I love the shoes and necklace. I hope you and HM have had a great time tonight. And no, you are not stodgy!
Those shoes are killer. Absolutely perfect.
LOVE the colour combo and as usual, your SHOES BLOW MY MIND!

I’m a long-time lurker. I’ve never commented before, but I had to comment on this outfit. I love it! Love the colours & the pieces & of course, those amazing shoes.
I of course love the shoes.
I love the skirt and specifically the length. I should try a shorter length with my fuller skirts I think.
i was at Psycho Suzi’s for lunch today! love the new place. love the deep fried asparagus even more…
Love that thing you’ve done with the belt and of course all that yellow!!
Love this outfit, love it! My fav of all the shoes you’ve showcased so far.
I bask in your matchiness, oh fashion guru. Matching drives some people nuts, but I love it, on everybody hah, and you are ever so awesome at it (as if you didn’t already know 😉 haha) Psycho Suzi’s sounds pretty awesome… wish there were places like that around here.
I’ve seen you in several photos now with the dark pink/magenta color – it is beautiful (!) on you.
What a great outfit. So simple, so classy, but Oh! The Shoes!!
This outfit is amazing…. Love how the pop of yellow really compliments the magenta… Maybe try this color combo again sometime soon!
I do love a vibrant yellow!
Love this outfit on you. Especially the 3rd yellow colour in the shoes and necklace. Hope you had fun!
