We really did have a lovely fall, friends. It was absolutely amazing to be able to wear a top this lightweight at the beginning of November and be perfectly comfortable. I can’t remember the last time that happened.

I went through a moon and stars jewelry phase back in high school and honestly never thought I’d head back down that road, but this super simple, surprisingly bright crescent moon pendant looks so natural against dark and muted colors. I also wore overalls in high school and have sworn off the revival of that trend. Kinda hoping that swearing-off sticks …

Do you find yourself wearing trends or items from your childhood or teen years?

Such a cool outfit. I really love what you are wearing lately.

I don’t really crave what I wore in high school, though perhaps jewelry would be an exception. What I want now is a version of what I didn’t wear, but liked on others. Remember stirrup pants with slouchy socks and an oversized sweater? I want sweater dresses, leggings and wooly socks. 🙂

Looking calm, collected and cheerful. Completely the new you. I do miss some colour though (or shouldn’t I say this?)

And no I have not worn any childhood or teen trends. Perhaps I didn’t have enough money at the time to indulge in it. Or it is because my taste was very under developed in my younger years.
