I feel like I’ve said this about a jillion times: Even though red is my absolute, all-time favorite color to see AND wear, I don’t own or wear as many red pieces as I’d like to. For ages, my only red pullover was a merino crewneck that didn’t quite work with skirts, so I was delighted to find this slightly shorter scoopneck. And I took the opportunity to mix other reds and red-based colors into my ensemble.

How often do YOU wear your favorite color?

I don’t wear my favorite color all that much either! Well, only partially true. My favorite color is blue, and I wear jeans nearly every day. But because my denim is blue, I hardly ever get to wear blue shirts.

I don’t think I have a favorite color anymore. But I do find that I wear a lot of orangey-red tones. There’s a lot more in the brown-to-yellow-to-red end of the spectrum in my closet, than the green-to-blue-to-violet end. This is odd because with blue eyes and pale skin I should want to wear more bluey tones …
Also – I just now thought about this – when I am having one of those days where I just do NOT want to put in effort in the morning, I find I gravitate toward wearing more bluey tones, because it makes my skin look less red and blotchy, and therefore I feel free to skip makeup.

My favorite fall color combo is red and brown, which I recently did for a post on my blog. I love the way you combined the different hues. A yellow purse is so on my current wish list and looks great.

Favorite color is green. I often wear shades of green, turquoise, teal. The right shade of teal brings out the natural auburn undertones in my hair even though their is some grey in it.

I like winey reds. Surprisingly, they make my brown eyes look a dark reddish- brown. I actually like the effect.

I like your reds outfit.Standing in front of the changing leaves in the background makes for an ideal Fall portrait.

I don’t have a favourite colour so much as a favouite colour combination: black, gray and a little bit of bright red. I wear that combo an awful lot, in the form of a black top, gray jeans or skirt, and red shoes or boots.

If pressed, I’d have to say my absolute favourite colour is black, and yes, I own lots of black things and wear them all the time. That makes me sound kind of goth, but I’m not really. I like lots of colours. It’s just that black is so…emphatic.

This looks great on you. My only suggestion would be a skirt that is a bit longer—for the sake of proportion. Other than that, several shades of red are really attractive together!

My favourite colour is red, too, but I´m not always up for it. It takes a certain kind of energy to wear, I think. Red and brown is a wonderful combination – it really suits you!

Somehow, without planning it, green became my signature color. I have tops in just about every shade of green out there. In the past few years I have picked up a green belt and shoes. Although I need a break from it from time to time, when I need to look good with minimal effort, that is what I reach for.

I think your tonal dressing looks beautiful. Maybe some day I can come up with a green version with out looking like a string bean!

Two of my favorite colors, at least for clothing, I don’t know that I could say I have a favorite color in the abstract, are teal and purple, and I wear them a lot. Often together!

I also wear a lot of grey, both because I work at an office in DC, so there’s a dress code of sorts, and also because I actually rather like grey. And because if you’re wearing a lot of teal, something a little more neutral seems called for, though maybe that’s just me.
