This outfit is many weeks old, but when I got dressed for my Fox 9 Morning Show segment last week I realized there was some serious overlap. Here I did red accents and a leopard tank. I almost wore this exact outfit to the studio, but the tank has a bit of wear around the collar, so I made some swaps, as you’ll see below!
Blazer – thrifted
Tank – clothing swap – similar color/details
Lace skirt – The Mexican Shop
Belt – thrifted – similar
Pumps – Del courtesy Corso Como
Bracelets – thrifted – similar
Necklace – don’t remember – similar
Earrings – The Wellington Boot
Same blazer, same skirt, another skinny belt … but different tank and accessories. We were talking about pencil skirts for the segment, and this is one of the only ones I have in my closet as I definitely favor A-lines and full styles. It worked well with this embellished tank and shiny black jewelry.

I like the first top best. Something about the nude colored top doesn’t appeal to me. Maybe an overdose of laciness. I guess the more-girly would go for it.
Beautiful outfit! You look very elegant and professional.
Great re-mix, and wow that is one gorgeous skirt! I might wear it every day till my co-workers stopped me : >
great outfit! I like the first outfit with the red accents.
My gosh! You even changed your nail polish! Love both looks but the second is my favorite.
And Sally, you were so amazing on the show! Polished, informative, approachable and altogether great. I *loved* your outfit, and all the tips/help with pencil skirts. You seemed totally at ease with both the presentation and the questions–a natural in front of the camera.
You look great in both of those! I’m wondering how you figure out how to ‘match’ the blacks though, as I always have problems wearing black on top and the bottom at the same time, especially in more formal fabrics. Do these work b/c the texture of the lace differentiates it enough from the blazer?
This one is the full package, it makes a statement, speaks for itself….. a true classic!
