This dress AND this blazer are getting some serious outfit love these days. Since I was super excited about this dress and talked it up over on Facebook, I got several requests for styling tips. First outfit is here, and this second one also includes a print mix albeit a more subtle one. I added cobalt and pink accents to break up all that black and white.
As I’ve said previously, this dress is surprisingly high-quality, comfy, and durable. I nabbed one in solid black, too, but wish Old Navy would make it in more colors!

I like a bold stripe!
You had me at “Polka Dot Blazer.” I love this look – and the bag is the perfect pop of color.
Loving the cobalt necklace with this black-and-white look, Sal.
LOVE the cobalt and pink combo with the black and white!
LOVE this! Especially the pops of color from the necklace & bag.
Your talking up of this dress convinced me to buy it, plus some almost knee-high black boots and a white-with-black-polka-dots cardigan (Old Navy online was having a sale. I was powerless.). I’ve already worn them altogether, and love them. It’s cool to see that a style expert who always looks so beautifully put together also likes the polka dots with stripes look 🙂
So, they don’t have any sleeveless options at the moment, but I actually really like Hanes for the simple jersey dress. The way you wear and style them has inspired me to go looking again, and I like the colors they have now. http://www.hanes.com/clothing/women/casualwear—sweaters/dresses/hanes-signature-womens-stretch-cotton-jolie-dress
love this striped dress! i could have sworn you mixed this dress with your green vintage military jacket? i can’t find the outfit though…did i make it up? anyway, i was so excited that i got all the components to put it together! ha! old navy has come out with another b/w dress this spring. 3/4 sleeve and less structure, but to the knee. i love it, especially since i’m less than confident about my body shape these days.
Gosh, June, I don’t recall doing this dress with my military jacket … and I can’t find it in a search. But it’s a good idea, so maybe I will in the future. 😉
So glad you nabbed a similar one for yourself!
