Tee – made with Zazzle
Pants – Athleta (no longer available) – similar
Sandals – Dolce Vita Bodhi
Bag – Rebecca Minkoff Logan (no longer available) – similar
Earrings – Pulso
Bracelets – various – similar look
Now that I’ve got some slogan tees that I actually like, they’ve been in pretty steady weekend rotation. I teamed this one with my ancient Athleta drop-crotch pants.

Tee – made with Zazzle
Pants – COS (no longer available) – similar
Sneakers – Converse (no longer available) – similar
Bag – eBags – same in tan
Earrings – Faccia Felice
Bracelet – Ideel – similar
And it wasn’t until I was poking around my folder of outfit photos that I realized I’d nearly duplicated the outfit using a different tee, but with a similar silhouette and feel. I also made/designed this tee (using both terms VERY loosely) using Zazzle, but I’m hardly the first to steal the phrase from “Mean Girls.”

Hey, if something works…. I’ve all but made my white sundress — with a necktie worn as a belt — my summer “uniform”. It makes me feel so pretty and chic, and it always gets so many compliments, that I just find myself reaching for it any time the weather is hot and sticky and I need the lift. I think it’s a good idea to have a series of “uniforms” — ensembles that are guaranteed to make us look and feel amazing — for various weather and activities. Sometimes you just feel like flying on auto-pilot… you know?
