It took FOREVER for the leaves to begin turning this year, but now they’re all blazing red, yellow, and orange. So I’ve got a few early fall outfits that need to get squeezed in before my photos match my environment!
Jacket – Athleta via eBay – similar – sustainable
Tank – Make It Good (made in USA/no longer available) – similar
Faux leather pants – Lysse via eBay – sustainable (through 3X!)
Ankle Boots – Parnu courtesy ECCO (no longer available) – similar/sustainable
Bag – Tom Thomas (handmade, no longer available) – similar – sustainable
Earrings – self-made – same/sustainable
Still loving my faux leather, as you can see! Bought this tank last summer on a trip to New Ulm, and really must start wearing it more. Windowpane is a great alternative to stripes; same clean, orderly look but just a little bit unexpected.

Jacket – thrifted – similar – sustainable
Tee – Threads 4 Thought
Jeans – Frame via eBay
Boots – Paul Green Darcy (dang, these were a lot cheaper when I bought mine!)
Bag – Rebecca Minkoff Logan via eBay (no longer available) – similar – sustainable
Top necklace – defunct Etsy vendor – same here
Compass necklace – courtesy Mark Defrates
Bottom necklace – Jenny Bird Bowie (no longer available – used ones here)
It’s blurry because it’s raining! And also a little closer to sunset than is ideal for photos … but this new-to-me long blazer had to be captured. Initially I tried this outfit with my Talking Heads graphic tee, and I looked like an extra from “Heathers.” So I swapped in solid black.

Sweater – Helmut Lang via The Realreal
Asymmetric bra –Helmut Lang (no longer available) – similar – sustainable
Leggings – courtesy Diane Kennedy (sustainable/bamboo)
Boots – Frye Tabitha via eBay
Earrings – Adriana Soto – similar/sustainable
Soon it’ll be too cold for sheers, so I’m giving my diaphanous sweaters a workout while I still can. I could’ve sworn this sweater was tunic-length – based on this outfit – but it felt mighty short! I’ll go for a thicker pant next time.

I love the window-pane blouse and clicked on the “similar” link. Ivanka Trump? Yeah.. no. Well, I’m glad that you will (may) make a bit of change from my click, anyway. Will hit the consignment stores.
