I have no idea why, but I tend to reach for colors on weekdays and neutrals on weekends. This earthy neutral mix felt perfect for a Sunday filled with errands. It was, however, the last time this thrifted cardigan got worn as something in my washing machine tore a giant hole in the shoulder that couldn’t be mended. Sigh. Well, at least I got a pair of olive green fake socks out of the deal.

Oh, that is a bummer about your cardigan. It is such a pretty color! Good call with the fake socks though! Also, that necklace is really pretty.
Such a great outlook to a ruined sweater! There are just so many ways to do neutrals. Love this one!
Aw, no! I was just about to say how much I liked this cardigan. But that’s entropy for you, I guess, and all good clothes have to go sometime…
Great round-up of neutrals, Sal. Love these muted colors together. Sorry about the sweater – my washer has devoured a few nice items along the way too.
This look is totally me – love everything about it!
I saw this and then read the petite busty post. I kept thinking this outfit worked with all the criteria for the petite busty woman too.
I looooove that necklace. Looooooveeee
Wow, loving the necklace! So sorry to hear about the sweater, though. 🙁 I’m glad you were able to rescue part of it. Such a lovely color.
This looks sooo pretty, and the necklace is just perfect!
That necklace is perfect for the outfit.
I wish you would stop taping down your cardigans. They always pull and lay so oddly that way. They are adorably cute outfits, but all I can see is the way it pulls so tight and unnaturally across your bust!
Love the outfit otherwise, though; so sad to hear about the green cardigan going the way of the dodo. Maybe you’ll be able to find something similar elsewhere?
This cardigan is not taped. It is cotton and the dress is cotton, so the pulling is the fibers catching on one another.
Love this necklace! Gorgeous colors.
