That’s right, I’m wearing cargo sweats. I picked these up with some Hautelook credits because they piqued my interest. Despite sounding like the most casual pants ever created, they LOOKED like they could work well in a dressy/casual mix. And I loved ’em here. Especially since they allowed me to trot out this tee that I bought about six years ago that has survived countless closet purges yet never been worn.

Have you picked up any experimental pieces lately? What prompted their purchase?

Why yes. Yes, I have. I was up by the lake for a completely unrelated reason, and found myself adjacent to a designer warehouse sale which is (I’ve now learned) famous among clotheshorses all over the southern end of the province.

I got several pieces by a brand called Mouse Ji, and some by Akela Key, and one by PLANET, all for a pittance — even less than most of the other stuff there. I, uh, don’t think anyone else wanted them. Particularly the Mouse Ji sarouel. BUT I DO!!

    They are amazing.

The pants look quite chic! Most of my closet is an experiment, but I’ve got some ankle pants I’m anxious to try out.

I’m not usually a fan of sweats/shorts & heels but this looks surprisingly good! Maybe it’s the sequins in the t-shirt (and accessories) that make it non-clashy? I don’t know what it is, but points to you!

Hi Sal. I cannot find those awesome cargo sweats *anywhere.* Are they definitely Hue brand and named “cargo sweats”? Is there a SKU for them? WANT. 🙂

You look great! I’ve been experimenting with animal print and new proportions. I’ve also found that some of the layering I was doing for modesty sake was packing on a false fat layer, so I’ve stripped down a bit. Now I just have to adjust to the sexiness vibe.

I love the style of these pants! Any suggestions for a plus size version? Doesn’t have to have pockets or be sweats, just looking for the shape/style.
