I wore this cheery outfit to have coffee with my friend Christina. Not only is she one of the most talented, driven, and generous people I’m fortunate enough to know, but every time I see her I feel invigorated and renewed. We swap stories and business plans, and always part company with new ideas to help us reach further and do more. I’m a lucky gal, no?
Also, I just noticed that I’ve worn this skirt and these boots together A TON. Evidence here, here, and here. Clearly the mustard-cognac combo is a fave. Though putting actual mustard into a glass of cognac is probably unwise.

Cheery color combo!
Gorgeous pairing of colors. I thought the shirt/skirt was a dress at first. It creates a cool illusion.
Whatcha been doing differently with your hair lately?
My bangs are cut a bit jagged instead of a big swoop.
Every time you wear that skirt, I sigh. People roll their eyes at mustard yellow, but it is such a versatile and cheerful color, and you wear it so well. I am wearing pants just this color as I type, with blue and brown on top (and leopard boots).
I am on TEAM YELLOW.
Like Wendy said, teal and mustard, very fab!
Your hair seems a lot straighter (judging from the pics alone, obviously) since you cut it. Do you find this to be the case? Are you doing something different to style it?
Yes, I’m using a flat iron now. Also it’s a lot shorter than when I first got it cut from shoulder length.
Ah that explains it! I have pin straight hair, so I was always jealous of your curls.
Love how happy you look in the first one, Sal! Great picture and I’m a huge teal-yellow fan too 🙂
Mustard with a tiny bit of cognac in it might work, though!
Hahaha. True!
