Dressed for: Planning

Already Pretty outfit featuring neon floral cardigan, coral jersey dress, espadrilles, navy leather bag

Cardigan – LOFT (no longer available) – more floral cardis
Dress – Old Navy
Espadrilles – gift – similar
Bracelets – Bibelot – similar look
Earrings – thrifted – similar
Necklace – Sashsimilar
Bag – eBay

I wore this bright but comfy outfit for a retreat day of planning with my women’s leadership program board – more on that soon! I adore the color mix in this cardigan, and was delighted to find that the coral in the print matched this coral dress so beautifully. I never would’ve expected cobalt and navy to play so well with these near-neons, but they do. Prints like this can serve as cheat sheets for creating new color mixes in entirely different outfits!

Do you ever draw color pairing inspiration from prints and patterns?

I saw this exact Loft cardi at a thrift a couple weeks ago, but in fall colors, not your gorgeous jewel tones there – still, for $5, I wish I’d nabbed it.

Love the look, your colors made me smile 🙂

Love the floral cardigan. Navy and coral are complimentary colours so of course they look great together! Well done. Hmm women’s leadership sounds intriguing… let us know!

All the time. Or checking out a painting. Flowers and birds are also good inspiration.

I use my wilder scarves for color pairing inspiration. I bought the same one with the rainbow squares on it that you have, so the sky’s the limit! Every color is represented, so every color can be used together 🙂
