Dressed for: Rarity

Already Pretty outfit featuring striped v-neck sweater, Lee Jeans, red heeled oxfords, bib necklace, cognac leather handbag

Sweater, Gap (no longer available) – very similar but maternity, similar
Necklace, don’t remember – more silver bib necklaces
Jeans – Lee Classic Fit Eliza courtesy Lee Jeans – giveaway forthcoming
Shoes, Charles David (no longer available) – similar style
Wrap bracelet, Giles & Brother via Fab.com
Bag, courtesy Ellington Handbags

It’s rare for me to throw on a sweater and a pair of jeans and feel like myself. I’m getting over my aversion to pants, but am still more likely to do skinnies and a tunic than any other pants-based combination. These fantastically comfy Lee straightlegs just might change my tune. I wore this during a blissful cool snap before the weather began its fall transitional roller-coaster ride, and felt surprisingly comfy and chic.

How will your style change when the weather shifts?

I love this look on you so hard. Will definitely be putting together a similar look of my own in the coming weeks. Like… stop in my tracks worthy awesome outfit. You look divine.

    OK. I’m done now.

I love everything about this look. And those red booties/heeled oxfords…to die for.

That weather “rollercoaster” is crazy isn’t it. As soon as it starts to cool a bit, I’ll go through all my tee shirts and throw out the ratty and pitted ones. Then I start stowing the pastels and obviously summer duds. I bring out the earth toned and darker tees. Sometime between turkey day and Xmas I can finally start wearing sweaters.

I really like this look too, made special by the red shoes and cool bag. I wore jeans today today for the 2nd time in the last 2 months I think, and it felt great. Already thinking about cardigans, long sleeve dresses, and boots.

Nice outfit! Good for you for going out of your comfort zone. Love the shoes and necklace.

mmm…fall has always been my favorite season, clothes-wise. growing up in wisconsin, it was the right time of year for all the layers and coziness (and oh, what a color palette!) that i loved, before winter and practicality (read: the effort of getting around outside in a college town in the snow) outweighed desire to be cute or stylish. now, however, i live in the foggy sf bay area, where fall through mid-spring is exactly right for tights and boots and sweaters and scarves…once you get past the hot snap of indian summer in mid-autumn, that is.

so, while everyone else is hanging onto the last bits of summer, i am anxiously awaiting fall weather and the next six months of my favorite clothes. =)

you look cute! and those jeans look really wonderful on you. my favorites (bandolino arianna, found at a thrift shop!) have a similar fit, though a little bit more flared. high waist and nicely-fitted on my curvy hips =)

Whoa! I’m not sure why you have pants aversion because these look great on you! The whole look is fabulous and elegant.

I agree. This looks absolutely fabulous on you!

The only real style change I make for the fall is the introduction of jeans back into my wardrobe. I can’t stand to wear denim when it’s hot and humid.

And, once daytime temps aren’t getting above 70, I put away the sandals.

when I saw this, I clicked right over to Amazon and bought those jeans! I already received them (thank you amazon prime) and I love them. I wish the fabric was a little softer though.
