Dressed for: Spikes and Citron

Already Pretty outfit featuring citron sweater, cobalt pleated skirt, cobalt studded belt, CC Corso Como Del snakeskin pumps, H&M necklace

Sweater – via Ideeli – similar stylesimilar color (neon yellow)
Skirt – J.Crew (no longer available) – similar
Belt – Steve Madden via Ideeli – similar
Pumps – Del courtesy CC Corso Como
Bracelet – thrifted – more chunky silver bracelets
Necklace – H&M – similar
Earrings – courtesy Metalicious

Inspiration here. I swapped the colors top to bottom, but still had that gorgeous image in mind when I pulled this outfit together. Citron and cobalt really bring out the best in each other. The spiky necklace and belt seemed like good additions to this bright, punchy mix.

I really like seeing you in larger statement jewelry. You should do that more often. The color combination is indeed gorgeous.

Oh man, favorite already pretty outfit of all time! Way to think outside the box! Would never have thought of pairing that necklace with those colors/items, but it looks great and defies putting the outfit in any box. Nice!

Love the skirt, but not sure that the “sweater” (though I’d call it a “jumper” is right, especially tucked-in. A little “mumsy” it it’s style – perhaps a v-neck would be better. Sorry to be negative…I normally love all your outfits!

how do you keep the belt in place? I know if I were wearing this, the belt would scoot up above the waistline of the skirt after I took about 2 or 3 steps.

It definitely migrated around a bit throughout the day! As with scarves, belts often need readjustment during wearing.

Such a fun outfit! Any plus-size doppelgangers of that skirt you happen to know of? I wear a 14-16 and the one you linked to only goes up to ModCloth’s Large which does not fit me… been DYING to find something like that, with no success anywhere just yet.
