Long ago, Queen Michelle taught me that the secret to making head-to-toe black outfits interesting is to mix up your textures. At the time, my wardrobe was considerably more color-heavy, but I stashed that tip in a corner of my brain. And here it is in play: Woven blazer, linen tank, snake-texture pants, and nubuck shoes. It’d be nice if my brain stashed away helpful tidbits like my GoDaddy password and father-in-law’s birthday … but it definitely prefers to hang on to dressing tips. And song lyrics. And random facts about polar bears.

Have you ever put some hightlights in your shock of hair swept to the side? Love your posts.
Thanks for all that you do!

I love the last picture. One of my wedding pics is that same look. I’m thinking I married into the munchkins, my in-laws (and hubs) are all shorter than me.
You look fantastic in all black! Queen Michelle is probably my favorite OG style blogger. She’s always gold. But I’m here to say: YOUR HAIR!!!!! It looks so good! ????????????
