Glad to be back, friends, though sad to report that – as often happens when I allow myself to relax at all – I am now sick as a dog, BLECH. Even if I weren’t, though, I’d be reaching back a bit for outfits and this one is from a few weeks ago before it got all cold and sleet-y. These olive green Coclico boots had been languishing until I took them to George’s and had them lop off a few inches from the top. Amazing what a difference a bit of boot height can make! I loved pairing them with this bold printed Gudrun tunic. And also love that it’s tunic, legging, and boot season at last.

So happy to have you back! You’ve convinced me on the boot, tunic & leggings look:).
Wow! I didn’t know that you could get boots shortened (at the top) as opposed to changing the heel. What a great idea!
Oh, this works. The boots make the look work even for those of us who are vertically challenged.
Looks great, and so comfy! I wore leggings with a tunic for the first time a couple weeks ago and I think it may have just spoiled real pants for me. I want to only wear leggings now. đŸ™‚
George’s is a great tip! I’ve had shoes resoled there, but never thought about shortening boots. I assume they put in new zippers once the boots are shortened — about what does it cost?
I want to know this exact same thing! Love George’s …
Great idea to have the tops lopped off for a whole new boot look. Glad to have you back. Get well soon!
So glad you’re back. So sorry you’re sick. Feel better, please. Meanwhile, love that Gudrun Sjoden—and the whole look.
Love tunics and boots, a hard proportion for my petite height and love the idea of boot shortening… Another interested in the pricing and process …
