Florals? For spring? Ground breaking.

Every time I buy a floral dress for summer or spring, I hear Miranda Priestly (Devil Wears Prada) mocking me. I know I didn’t need another floral dress but I definitely wanted this one! It’s so bright and cheerful, the fabric is surprisingly breathable for Dubai’s heat and I’m quite fond of the ladylike length.  Teaming the dress with yellow accessories seemed like a good way to maintain the cheerful theme 🙂

What are your go to spring/ summer staples? Are you a floral junkie too?

I love this dress on you. It’s so gorgeous. And the colors are perfectly spring-like.

I tend to go for brights in the spring. Most of my florals are actually dark, winter-y florals. I know. Weird.

That’s not weird, it’s quite edgy and trendy actually! I wish I had more dark florals, they look so good with plum or wine lipstick 🙂

I could never wear those colors in a million years, but they’re so bright and vibrant on you!

(And I SO feel you on the need for breathable fabric… New Orleans’ summer is creeping up on us, and I am NOT looking forward to it!)
