I do not wear a lot of pastels. I don’t particularly like them nor do I think they are particularly flattering on me. There are a few exceptions; blush, pink, and peach. I don’t know why, but those are the only pastels I wear with any regularity. And I generally wear them around this time of year because they’re so perfect for spring. Today’s outfit features the first blush of spring:

I bought this tunic on deep, deep sale at LOFT, but still hesitated in buying it because although I do like blush I wasn’t sure if I’d actually wear it. But, I think this top is just lovely, especially paired with the polka dot scarf:

It’s the perfect outfit for early spring:

Still covered up so I don’t freeze to death when I ride in (I clip my pant legs when I ride in flares) but still spring-like.

Gracey

Already Pretty contributor Gracey hails from Fashion for Giants. She’s essentially your average blogger, except that she’s taller than average (six foot) and bigger than average (size 14). She also likes to think that she’s more amusing than average, but that could just be vanity. In addition to being tall and plus-sized (and possibly hilarious), she’s also a thrift store shopper, a vintage lover, an Oregonian, and a bike commuter.
Likes: Gracey likes to shop, to blog, and to terrify her co-workers with brightly colored outfits.
Dislikes: Robot uprisings, too-short skirts, and leggings as pants.

Those colors are gorgeous on you! I love the mix of the subtle patterns between the top and scarf too.
What a beautiful and elegant looking outfit! The pink range-which for me will include a bit of mauve-is all I do in pastels too. I find it difficult to get my favoured jewel tones in summer clothing. They are usually pastels or bright primaries.
I love pale pink and gray paired together. Your outfit is perfect for spring. And a polka dotted scarf is the perfect added touch. Great job.
