Insomniac Sale Picks: Stylish Walking Sandals

*In this late-night feature – which will run on Tuesday and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*

Jae requested a few picks for stylish walking sandals, so here we go:

vionic walking sandal

Vionic Grace Samar – was $139.95, now $132.98 – $139.95

In my mind, “walking sandals” means a pair that you can take on vacation and spend six to eight hours in without getting blisters. And I can understand why Jae requested help in finding a stylish pair, because if you search for “walking sandals” most of what you get is pretty plain. Vionic is a renowned comfort brand, and although the ankle strap on this pair might irritate some, overall the design has relatively few possible pain points. It’s got an EVA footbed with arch support, and one customer brags that she’s walked five miles in her pair. Available in this leopard as well as zebra print, black leather, or tan leather in U.S. sizes 5 – 11. Size availability varies by color. This similar style comes in C/D widths, and there’s also a slide version.

comfortable sandals

Clarks Roza Pine – was $85, now $47.99 – $75.99

Gotta buy my Clarks secondhand now since they’re not sustainable, but the brand remains one of my all-time favorites for comfort, style, and durability. This sandal gets rave reviews from customers for both comfort and style, and I love the simple but eye-catching design. Available in this black as well as blue, pink, or gray in U.S. sizes 5 – 12, including wide widths.

woven sandal

Easy Spirit Brick Road – was $75.99, now $35.38 – $69.99

Here’s the vegan-friendly pick of the night, a style that people tend to either adore or loathe: The woven textile. If you prefer a sandal that has serious give in the straps – helpful if your feet tend to swell after hours of walking – this might be just the sandal for you. You’ve also go a platform in play for a bit of lift without the aid of an actual heel. Available in this silver as well as bronze, black, red, or navy in U.S. sizes 6 -11, including some C/D widths.

stylish walking sandals

Walking Cradles VI Wedge – was $149.95, now $42.48 – $139.95

You all know how much I adore metallic shoes, especially sandals, as a versatile alternative to blacks and browns. This sandal also caught my eye because the straps are super soft, which means the design is less likely to chafe on long walks. This style has a slight wedge and massage nubs on the insole. Warning: A few reviewers say the air-filled sole can make a whooshing or even a farting sound when you walk … not everyone complains of this, but could be an issue if you plan to do a lot of walking around in silent art museums! Available in this bronze as well as black, white, or a peachy metallic in U.S. sizes 4 – 12, including 3A, 2A, M, C/D, and EEE widths. If you’d prefer a more structured sandal from this brand, this style is similar but more solid.
