*In this late-night feature – which will run on Tuesday and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*
Beth requested a few picks for patterned tights, so here we go:
Hue Single Rose Tight – was $15, now $9.98 – $12.49
I gravitate toward subtle patterns in my own tights, but wanted to start things off tonight with something a bit bolder! I have to assume that these are called “single rose” because the pattern shows one big blossom at a time … but you’ll roses all over your legs if you spring for this pair. Available in this black as well as graphite heather (slightly lighter gray) in sizes SM/M and M/L. This pair is lacier, but also features large roses and available in plus sizes. (BTW, I found mostly black patterns, but Hue is a great resource for colorful patterned tights, if you are seeking non-black options!)
Hanes Silk Reflections 3 Pack – was $30, now $15.99
Such a deal! And these three patterns could all be toned down with simple clothes or amped up if worn with bright colors or short hemlines and low-vamp shoes. I love geometrics for tights, so I dig all three of these. Available in sizes A/B – E/F (E/F fits up to 5’7″ and 170 pounds according to Hanes). They aren’t sold in 3-packs, but Eloquii has very similar patterns in plus sizes.
DKNY Modern Graphic Laser Cut-out Tight – was $32, now $19.95
So fun! I mean, not the best if you’re looking for interesting tights to wear with tall boots, but stellar for pumps and ballet flats. Cut-outs like these are super trendy right now and an interesting alternative to typical patterns. Couldn’t find anything truly similar, but these cut-out leggings are available in plus sizes. (If anyone knows of a closer match, please add a link in the comments!)
Sustainable resources for patterned tights:
- Gudrun Sjödén – Mostly solids, but a few pretty prints in vibrant jewel tones.
- PACT – OK, very few patterns. But loads of colors, sustainably made!
- prAna – If you’re willing to go slightly thicker, prAna has leggings and running tights in funky prints like this chevron pair.
Other not-currently-on-sale resources for patterned tights:
- Modcloth – 133 pairs of tights, most of which are patterned. How fun is this dark plaid pair?
- Falke – My favorite splurge brand. Even their solids are gorgeous, but patterns like this lacy pair are stunning, too.
- Nordstrom – Stellar selection, almost year-round. I’m drooling over these artfully laddered tights.
