*In this late-night feature – which will run on Tuesday and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*
Mary Margaret requested a few picks for boxy blouses, so here we go:
Anthropologie Kimono Midi Top – was $79, now $49.95
Boxy often means short, and this blouse definitely has a cropped silhouette. But it’s also got a loose, open shape and gorgeously detailed sleeves. I love it with the denim skirt as shown here – and it’ll be a perfect length for higher waisted skirts – but it could also be thrown over a dress to add interest. (A good option if it’s too short for your taste on its own.) Available in white or chambray in sizes XXS – XL as well as some petite sizes. Size availability varies by color. This top comes in mint, lavender, or black and has a similar shape in sizes 14 – 24.
Bobeau Boxy Blouse – was $48, now $28.80
For a bit more length with a boxy fit, this button-front is a great choice. Slightly angled sleeves keep the look from being all wide, vertical lines and wearing the placket open a bit lets you add a fun necklace. Available in this olive as well as peach or black in sizes XS – XL. Size availability varies by color. I couldn’t find anything super similar, but this boxy blouse also comes in peach in 1X – 3X and this button-front in 1X – 2X.
Brigitte Bailey Silk Shyloh Blouse – was $98, now $29.99
Definitely sheer, but pure silk and marvelously minimalist. The sleeves unroll to full length, and that’s a curved high-low hem you see. The shallow V neckline is an elegant touch, too. Available in this raspberry as well as black in sizes XS – XL. Sold out in S. This tab-sleeve boxy blouse comes in red in sizes 12 – 28.
- This windowpane print blouse is selling out fast, but I also found a super similar plus-size version.
- Another pretty offering from Anthro is this cobalt silk blouse
- Old Navy has a few boxy options in various sizes, though not all blouses. This two-tone linen blouse is so summery.
Other not-currently-on-sale resources for boxy blouses:
- Eileen Fisher – They won’t be cheap, but they’ll be gorgeous. This notch-neck blouse is stunning.
- Everlane – Affordable, lovely, and ethically made. Get a load of this habotai silk long-sleeve.
- Vince Camuto – Options in regular and plus sizes.
