*In this late-night feature – which will run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*
Rachel requested a few picks for budget-friendly maxi skirts, so here we go:
Old Navy Womens Jersey Maxi Skirt – was $24.94, now $20
Basic as can be, but you can’t beat that price! This fairly fitted model is constructed from a slinky poly/rayon blend, and is ideal for warm weather wear. Available in this bold cobalt, heather gray, and basic black in sizes XS – XXL.
Express Maxi – was $59.90, now $13.99
(Additional 30% off taken at checkout)
My beloved black jersey maxi skirt is from Express, and has held up beautifully over the years. I’m a fan of truly long maxis, and this one is floor-length with a slightly flared hem for optimum drama! Machine washable and comfy as all get-out. Available in black in sizes S – L.
Ark & Co. Braided Waist Maxi Skirt – was $69, now $47.99
This is the splurge of the group, for sure, but considering how much wear my own romantic, pale, floaty maxi has gotten, I wanted to include it regardless. This style has a nice high waistline, is lined, and features a pretty little braided detail at the waist. Dress it up or down. Available in sizes S – L.
Other not-currently-on-sale resources for budget-friendly maxi skirts:
- Zappos – I’M SERIOUS! 237 maxi skirts total, although many of them are in the $50-$60 range, so they aren’t as budget-friendly as tonight’s featured picks. Still worth a look, though!
- Macy’s – Loads of great, affordable styles – including some petite and plus offerings – but with patchy size availability. This Baby Phat zigzag print skirt is fab, if you’re an L or XL!
- Shopbop – Surprisingly, this fancy-pantsy online retailer has some bargains in stock. This dramatic bordeaux one caught my eye.
- And, of course, THRIFT STORES! Maxi skirts have been around for ages, which means they are frequently in stock at charity shops. (thethriftshopper.com can help you locate stores near you.)
