*In this late-night feature – which will run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*
Katie requested a few picks for chambray button-front shirts, so here we go:
Carhartt Girl Chambray Shirt – was $50, now $39.99
I generally prefer unadorned versions of classics, but I actually love the tiny little ruffle on this shirt’s placket. Fun, playful, and relatively unobtrusive. This version is 100% acrylic and is relatively short in the torso, which makes it a good bet for pairings with skirts. Available in sizes S – XL.
Liz Claiborne New York Long Sleeve Roll-Tab Chambray Shirt – was $36, now $31.38
A 100% cotton version that comes in three shades of blue as well as yellow, orange, and pink, this roll-tab sleeve version can be cuffed for summer wear or worn long when the weather turns cold. Available in sizes XS – 3X (sold out in 2X). Availability varies by color.
Orvis Double-collar Wrinkle-free Shirt – was $79, now $49
Ahhh, those magic words: Wrinkle free. And the sharp-pointed double collar on this shirt means it will dress up beautifully, should you choose to do a fancy-casual ensemble. Available in sizes 6 – 20 in this denim color, varied sizes in purple, yellow, and pink. 100% cotton.
Other not-currently-on-sale resources for chambray button-front shirts:
- Madewell – They’ve got five options on tap right now, including sleeveless, white, and a version that costs $386 for some reason. (Other versions are more affordable!)
- Old Navy – Current picks include fun colors and traditional denim-y blue.
- Urban Outfitters – Faded, dark wash, sleeveless, and loads of other options all available right now! This classic wash is a fave.
