*In this late-night feature – which will run on Tuesday and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*
Shelley requested a few picks for crossbody bags, so here we go:
Piazza Rustico Saddle Bag – was $139.99, now $79.99
Oh, the gorgeous minimalism of this bag. At 11.5″ x 8.25″ x 2.5″ it’s on the small side for someone like me, but still roomy enough for everyday use. The long leather crossbody strap is faced with a bit of webbing. I’ve got a bag that has a similar strap and LOVE it since it keeps the bag from sliding around on my shoulder. This bag could be equally great with Boho casual or preppy business attire. For a similar look in faux leather, check out this Relic bag.
The Sak Silverlake Crossbody – was $129, now $89
Definitely more of a rocker/Boho feel to this bag, but it’s still quite versatile. At 11″ x 9.75″ x 3″ this bag is small to medium, but could definitely be an everyday bag. Closes with a magnet in the flap, which is my absolute favorite style of bag closure – no fussing with zippers, but still a relatively secure design. Also comes in red, brown, and cognac with silver and turquoise studs.
Fossil Keyper Mini Flap Crossbody – was $68, now $36.99
The bargain of the night, and also vegan-friendly, this smaller bag has a fun vintage flair to it. At 8.5″ x 1″ x 7″ it’s rather wee, but could still hold a slim wallet, phone, and keys at the least. Also comes in a quirky bee print, abstract pastels, and what look like trumpets. There is some variation in price from print to print.
Rebecca Minkoff Logan Crossbody – was $395, now $199
A splurge for many, but I’m including it because you’ve seen me carry the black version of this bag about 6 million times. It’s one of my absolute favorite possessions. The bag is large enough for someone like me who carries a set of encyclopedias and a minifridge with her wherever she goes, but doesn’t feel or look huge and bulky. (13″ x 12.5″ x 6″) I will admit that I took this bag to NYC last year and it turned out to be heavy for a week’s worth of 8-hour walking days, but for everyday use, it’s just perfect. And I’m dying over this gorgeous red version.
