*In this late-night feature – which will run on Tuesday and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*
Genevieve requested a few picks for dressy track pants, so here we go:
Gap Tencel Jogger Pant – was $59, now $31.50
with code APRIL
So these have a 26″ inseam, which means on most ladies they may look a bit short. My feeling is that this style of pant works well if a little ankle is showing, but I know it won’t work for everyone. Tall is 30″ and petite is 24″, but you may or may not experience rise issues if you order just for inseam reasons! Available in this black as well as navy or khaki in sizes XS – XXL, as well as petite and tall sizes. This similar style is available in 14W – 24W.
DKNYC Pull-On Cuffed Track Pant – was $89.50, now $44.99
Genevieve mentioned cuffs, a detail I also like in this style of pant, and this pair is made from a nice, drapey polyester but with cute knit cuffs. Plus they get high marks from reviewers! Love this navy, but also available in black in sizes XS – XL. Here’s a similar style in petite and one in plus sizes.
Splendid Sandwash Jersey Pant – was $128, now $70.99
I know the drawstring can be a turn-off, but I have several pairs like this and just tuck the ties into the waistband. (You can yank them out completely, of course, but they’re a bear to get back in if you change your mind.) And so long as you do your top untucked, no one is the wiser. Love this dusty olive color – super versatile! These are available in sizes XS – XL. This pair has a similar shape and drape in sizes 12 – 32. If $71 is to much for ya, this pair is similar for less, but lacks the cute ankle cuff.
Other not-currently-on-sale resources for warm but stylish parkas:
- Gap – My top pick for sure. Everything from tencel to sweater knits.
- Nordstrom – Fabulous options, especially if you’re looking for color or pattern. This pair comes in red, turquoise, navy, white, or black.
- Macy’s – Search for “jogger” to find prints and solids aplenty. Petite and plus options, too.
- Torrid – SUCH great options in plus sizes.

Would you please do a post on maxi skirts for petites? If possible my preference is always natural fibers – polyester is useless in the heat, which is why I need a maxi in the first place.
For sure!
I clicked on this thinking FOR SURE it was a belated April Fool’s day post … but it is not and I want them all. Who knew I would end up a dressy track pant convert at 3PM on a Friday?
I like the options! For a $45 difference in the last pair I can add cuffs… youtube has a bunch of tutorials – “how to add cuffs to pants”! Thanks.
