*In this late-night feature – which will run on Tuesday and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*
Lydia requested a few picks for stylish bags that will fit file folders, so here we go:
Danielle Nicole Sloane Satchel – was $98, now $49.97
Roomy enough for legal files at 12″ x 16″ x 4.5″, this zip-top satchel is also stylish enough for a night on the town. The colorblocked design and faux croc texture make this bag eye-catching, but not too over-the-top for work use. Available in this black/white combo as well as black trim with light blue croc. This bag is vegan-friendly! Danielle Nicole has several other bags that would work great for these purposes, including this tan and black colorblocked satchel.
Foley + Corinna Barred Tote – was $375, now $144.32
Such a sophisticated, elegant take on a classic tote. Pebbled gunmetal leather, angled strap design, and a magnetic strip closure set this bag apart from typical square, open totes. Clocking in at 14″ x 14″ x 5″, this bag won’t accommodate legal folders but can definitely hold letter-size folders and much more. Also available in black for $256.22. This Hobo tote is also available in gray and with similar dimensions, but minus the metallic finish.
Milly Riley Tote – was $395, now $189.97
Equipped with handles and a shoulder strap, this leather bag is a roomy 11″ x 17″ x 5″ – big enough for legal or other files. I love the dual zipper detail on the front – edgy without being overly casual. You can also get this tote in a slightly smaller size and gold hardware on Amazon for $157.78 with code NEW4SPRING.
Anne Klein Military Luxe Tote – was $108.99, now $69.99
Olive is a surprisingly versatile color for a handbag, and this timeless faux leather tote will serve you well for years to come. It’s 15.5″ x 12″ x 5.75″, so just barely big enough for legal files, but nice and deep to accommodate other work items.
Other not-currently-on-sale resources for stylish bags that will fit file folders:
- Fossil – Totes, satchels, and more in large, file-friendly designs. This Emerson Tote is roomy but sleek.
- Kate Spade Saturday – Structured bags abound here. The Zipline Satchel would make a fantastic work bag.
- Rebecca Minkoff – Most bags are spendy, but they’re fabulous quality. Any of her totes would be great.
