*In this late-night feature – which will run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*
Amanda requested a few picks for high-waisted dress slacks, so here we go:
ASOS WHITE Seamed High Waist Wide Leg – was $116.38, now $35.81
OK, these seem a little too good to be true. They’re 96% wool with a hit of elastane, feature a flattering leg seam, and come in this lovely rosy taupe. And $36? You can hardly beat THAT. Available in sizes 2 – 14.
AGB Textured Button Tab Trousers – was $34.98, now $29.98
These lined, pocketless trousers feature a mottled finish that lend them an easy sophistication. I haven’t seen them in person and the fact that they’re machine washable makes me wonder a bit about high polyester content, but at this price they’re worth trying. Available in sizes 4 – 16.
Not Your Daughters Jeans Katherine Career Trouser – was $120, now $83.99
These are the solid bet for sure. They’ve got a 34″ inseam so some will need hemming and are fairly lightweight, but feature a nice flat front and a 10″ front rise and come from a reputable brand. A great basic black pant with a comfortably high waistline. Available in sizes 0 to 18.
Other not-currently-on-sale resources for high-waisted dress slacks:
- Talbots – Look for the Heritage fit for their highest rise, but even the Signature styles are higher than many mall stores.
- ModCloth
– To keep up their vintage sensibilities, this online retailer frequently stocks high-waisted slacks and trousers.
- Nordstrom – Loads of gorgeous options at a variety of price points. I’m seriously considering these taupe widelegs for myself.

I’ve heard a good report about the Madewell high-waisted jeans. Not exactly dress pants, but one of their washes gets pretty close for business casual.
