Insomniac Sale Picks: Long White Skirts

*In this late-night feature – which will run on Tuesday and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*

Anna requested a few picks for long white skirts, so here we go:

white-1

Karen Kane Long Godet Skirt – was $99, now $74.95

I seriously considered ordering this one for myself since it looks like the perfect swingy, cool, white skirt for summer. It’s lined, but all all in lightweight cotton voile. I’d love this with a chambray shirt and tan sandals. Not cheap, but made in the U.S. and Karen Kane quality. Available in sizes XS – XL. This linen skirt has a similar look in sizes 1X – 3X.

jm collection long white skirt

JM Collection Pull-On A-Line Linen Skirt – was $59, now $44.99

If the micropleats don’t send you, try this flowy godet skirt instead. It’s linen, so expect some wrinkling, but will be cool and breezy all summer long. Available in sizes S – XL. For a slimmer fit in white linen try this subtly fluted maxi. This long white linen skirt isn’t on sale but comes in petites and plus 1X – 4X. And this one in 0X – 5X petites!

calvin klein white maxi skirt

Calvin Klein Pinktuck Maxi Polyester Chiffon Skirt – was $129.50, now $104.99

Well, you sure can pay a bunch of money for your long, white skirt if you want to. I have a very similar skirt in ivory and absolutely love it. Won’t wrinkle as much as its linen friends but still has that wonderfully diaphanous white maxi skirt feel. Pair this with a floaty blouse and light heels for a romantic evening out. Available in sizes XS – XL. This ivory pleated midi is available in 14- 18.

There are also gobs of tiered white maxis in plus sizes including this gauze one and this lined cotton one.

Other not-currently-on-sale resources for long white skirts:

  1. eBay – Thousands of white skirts, both new and used, in a huge variety of sizes and styles.
  2. Macy’s – A range of lengths and styles, including this fun patchwork eyelet skirt.
  3. Old Navy – Some are certainly short, but a nice variety of white skirts including the one linked to above.
  4. And, of course, THRIFT STORES! White can be tough to thrift because of the dinge factor, but worth a look. And there’s always bleach! (thethriftshopper.com can help you locate stores near you.)
