Insomniac Sale Picks: Low Platform Sandals

*In this late-night feature – which will run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*

J requested a few picks for low, walkable platform sandals, so here we go:

Camper 21573-003 – was $162, now $155 (select colors)

It never fails to surprise me that Camper, maker of adorable and creative shoes for men and women, gives their styles numeric names. Weird. ANYWAY it is very possible that I will purchase this very sandal quite soon. How fabulous is that sunny yellow? Camper shoes are generally very comfortable and designed for active walkers, and these platform sandals fall right in line. Available in yellow, black, dark brown, and tan in sizes 35 – 41.

Kork-Ease Deborah – was $155, now $109.99 (select colors)

Kork-Ease did this style last year and I held off. We’ll see if I can resist for another year. This chunky, funky sandal has a 1.5″ platform and a 3.5″ heel, for a perceived heel height of 2″. It’s just tough and cool enough for weekend wear, but would also dress up quite nicely. Available in black, pale tan, green, magenta, pale blue, and dark brown. Sizing and pricing varies by color.

Camper Damas 21575 – was $162, now $152.98 (select colors)

I realize that two pairs of Campers in one post might seem like cheating, but BELIEVE ME, if you want stylish, relatively flat platform sandals, Camper is the way to go. This style is a little lighter and more delicate than its yellow cousins above, and comes in this versatile tan, ruddy brown, black, and yellow in sizes 35 – 41.

Other not-currently-on-sale resources for low platform sandals:

  1. Amazon – It’s gonna be the usual suspects, friends. Again, Amazon is my top choice for shoes right now. They may own Endless, but you can often get the same shoes for a few bucks less direct from Amazon. 13,000 platform sandals in this link, and you can narrow your search by size, color, and many other criteria.
  2. Dansko – Virtually all Dansko shoes are platforms, and they’re doing some fun sandals this season. The Tasha is especially appealing.
  3. Miz Mooz – I have a pair of Renee sandals and they are unbelievably comfy. Some Miz Mooz styles are lower or platform-free, but many feature a moderate, walkable platform

I love the idea of walkable platform sandals! Unfortunately, even on sale these are all out of my budget. I will definitely be keeping a sale-stalking eye out for Campers, though.
