*In this late-night feature – which will run on Tuesday and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*
dorktastic requested a few picks for plus-sized maternity wear, so here we go:
Oh Baby by Motherhood™ Striped Tank Dress – was $56, now $42
Great dress, great price, and a great style that’s perfect for hot summer wear but can also be layered if you’re expecting in the fall instead. It’s machine washable for easy care, and features a nice, high back and wide straps. Available in black/white as well as turquoise/navy stripe in 1X – 3X. This similar style is available in sizes S – L.
Maternity Millennium Overbelly Trouser Pants – was $68, now $39.99
I believe dorktastic and a few other readers were specifically looking for office-appropriate options, so I made a point of tracking down some good-looking dress pants. This pair is a trouser style with a slight flare at the ankle, with an overbelly panel covers the tummy and can be worn up or folded down as needed throughout your pregnancy. Available in this navy as well as khaki or black in sizes 1X – 3X, as well as S – XL. JCP has several other dress pant styles including wide legs and straight legs. Also love these slim fit crops from Kohl’s.
Motherhood Pleated Maternity Blouse – was $39.98, now $29.99
So this is a polyester blouse and might not be the most breathable of options, but it’s pretty and dressy enough for work wear and will also look lovely with jeans. The majority of plus-sized maternity tops are super casual, so I wanted to include something office-friendly! Available in sizes 1X – 3X. Comes in a slightly brighter cobalt in sizes S – XL.
Sustainable resources for plus-sized maternity clothes:

- Etsy – Handmade and custom pieces in maternity-friendly designs.
- Destination Maternity – Not a lot of plus options, but several made-in-the-U.S. pieces.
Other not-currently-on-sale resources for plus-sized maternity clothes:
- Amazon – There’s a lot to wade through, but Amazon has everything from simple tees to work-friendly dresses.
- Kohl’s – Everything from swimwear to pretty tunic tops and jeans.
- JC Penney – Especially great for dress pants and office wear!
