Insomniac Sale Picks: Plus-sized Silky Pullover Blouses

*In this late-night feature – which will run on Tuesday and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! Brooke requested a few picks for plus-sized silky blouses that aren’t button-fronts, so here we go:

Land’s End Neck Pleat Soft Blouse – was $50, now $34.99

This machine-washable long-sleeved blouse is loose-fitting, but should flow nicely. Try it with color-of-the-year Marsala for an unexpected pairing, or do gray or navy for a more traditional mix. Available in sizes 14 – 18 regular and 24W – 24W as well as a few petite sizes. Also available in a short-sleeved version in plus sizes, and a similar short-sleeved blouse is available in regular sizes in this same periwinkle color.

Lane Bryant Animal Print Split-back Blouse – was $59.95, now $35.97

This version of leopard/animal print is fantastic – pared down to black and white it becomes more graphic and abstract, so potentially more versatile. The split back detail starts low on the torso, though you may still want to wear with a cami. Available in sizes 14 – 28, and also comes in a black and white heart print. (I know we’re looking at pullover blouses, but I love this heart and skull tunic so much I can’t resist throwing it in.) Similar animal print blouse available in regular sizes here.

Bisou Bisou 3/4-Sleeve V-Neck T-Back Top – was $40, now $27.99

I know orange isn’t for everyone, but if you love the color this elegant v-neck blouse is a fantastic choice. The t-strap back is just a bit sexy, but shallow enough to cover most bras and still office-appropriate.  Available in sizes 1X – 3X. This similar blouse is available in coral or navy in plus juniors sizes. Here’s a regular size blouse in a similar orange.
