*In this new late-night feature – which will run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*
AnnePR requested a few picks for plus-sized white shirts, so here we go:
Jones New York Shirt With Pleat and Ruffle – was $79, now $59.99
Ruffles can get overwhelming pretty quickly, but this detailing is subtle and a bit more on the tuxedo-y side. My JNY pieces are top-notch, and several plus-sized clients are dedicated to this brand. I can imagine this shirt peeking out from a colorful cardigan or classic black blazer and looking chic as can be!
Foxcroft Three Quarter Sleeve Shirt – was $69, now $45.90
This pared-down shirt is reviewed as being a bit on the boxy side, so it would likely work best for casual looks and/or for body types and comfort levels that prefer a looser fit. The three-quarter sleeves draw the eye to the waistline, which will mitigate some of the boxiness. Goes to a US 24 and comes in a washed red and blue as well.
Alfani Three Quarter Sleeve Pintucked Shirt – was $44.98, now $42.98
Since this shirt has Designated Boob Room, that waist-defining pintucking may backfire on certain figures. But if you’ve got a smaller bust and are looking for a subtle way to get some shaping into your white shirt, this could be a great solution. Available through size 20.
Other not-currently-on-sale resources for great plus-sized white shirts:
- Macy’s – This style is a great, classic basic and available to 3x/size 24.
- Old Navy – This one is only available in a 1x, but a great basic option, too. The site has several other offerings, and rotates them seasonally.
- Avenue – With 75 blouses on offer, many of them white, there are loads of great options.
