*In this late-night feature – which will run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*
Regina requested a few picks for red non-denim pants, so here we go:
Jones New York Modern Fit Pant – was $89, now $48.30
(extra 30% off taken at checkout!)
These are described as wide legs, but they don’t look super voluminous to me. Just a classic dress pant in a fabulously vibrant shade of red! Available in sizes 2 – 16, sold out in 10. Also in petite and plus sizes.
Calvin Klein Lux Belted Pant – was $89, now $34.99
Similar in style to the JNY pair above, but with a mid rise instead of a high one, and a slightly flared leg shape. Love those top-entry pockets, too. Available in sizes 2 – 14.
Banana Republic Belted Wide-Leg Pant – was $98, now $58.80
with code BROCTOBER (through midnight tonight!)
Now THESE wide legs look wide. They sit below the waist and have on-seam pockets and a hook/bar closure. The self-tie is removable, so if you’re not a bow-at-the-waist fan, don’t despair! Available in sizes 0 -16 in short, regular, and long inseams as well as petite sizes. (BR also has a straight leg ankle pant in this same red, in the same size run.)
Other not-currently-on-sale resources for red non-denim pants:
- Jones New York – Great styles in bright reds. Even their “jeans” look dressy enough for many offices.
- eBay – Feel like there’s not enough variety in the mall offerings? 27,000 pairs of red women’s pants on eBay. (Use the left rail nav to narrow down your search!)
- Macy’s – For whatever reason, Macy’s seems to stock lots of colorful dress pants, including red ones. Lots of crops and skinnies in there, but some other styles, too.
- And, of course, THRIFT STORES! Most dress pants at thrifts stores are black, it’s true, but bright colors turn up more often than you’d expect. (thethriftshopper.com can help you locate stores near you.)
