Insomniac Sale Picks: Rhinestone Statement Necklaces

*In this late-night feature – which will run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*

Jasmine requested a few picks for rhinestone statement necklaces, so here we go:

ann taylor triple strand necklace

Ann Taylor Triple Strand Crystal Necklace – was $85, now $59.99

This is on the delicate/conservative end of the statement necklace spectrum, but still eye-catching and fabulously sparkly. It would look so lovely peeking out from the collar of a button-front shirt at the office, but also would fancy up a moto, tee, and jeans outfit for the weekend.

J.Crew Crystal and Metal Necklace – was $138, now $58.50
with code EXTRA40

A great chunky, sparkly bib style with a vintage-inspired chunky chain to match. This style looks great tucked into the collar of a button-front, right where a bow tie would go.

material girl rhinestone necklace

Material Girl Rhinestone Web Four-Row Necklace – was $22, now $10.99

I adore gunmetal and black chain with rhinestones – as evidenced by my own bracelets and necklaces – and would wear this necklace in a heartbeat. It looks pretty rocker-ish, but could be a great juxtapositional piece with a sleek office outfit or casual ensemble.

J.Crew Factory Brass-plated Crystal Necklace – was $54.50, now $32.50

Another slightly subdued option, but still gorgeous and plenty statement-y for many outfits and occasions. Also comes in dark navy crystal set in brass.

Other not-currently-on-sale resources for rhinestone statement necklaces:

  1. J.Crew – I swoon over nearly every necklace they issue. Prices too rich? Check eBay.
  2. Baublebar – Fun and affordable sparklies.
  3. Etsy – Few of my rhinestones hail from Esty, but there are gobs of gorgeous options on the site!
  4. And, of course, THRIFT STORES! Especially if you don’t mind layering up several smaller rhinestone necklaces, hit up your thrift, vintage, and antique stores.. (thethriftshopper.com can help you locate stores near you.)

Brightly colored winter accessories – really bright! Days are getting cooler and shorter and I need to brighten up my look. Maybe a sweater jacket coat thingy or rain coat …. Not sure. Thanks!
