*In this late-night feature – which will run on Tuesday and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*
Allison requested a few picks for sailor pants, so here we go:
Nautica Sport Button Sailor Pants – was $89.50, now $53.70
As classic as it gets, no? These dark navy wide bootcuts have the requisite front button detailing – although in this case, they’re faux not functional – as well as a notched waistband and two-pocket styling in back. They’re a cotton/poly blend so undoubtedly washable. Available in sizes 6 – 16. This similar pair is available in sizes 18W – 24W. This crepe version comes in petite sizes.
Candie’s High-Waisted Sailor Pants – was $48, now $32.99
This pair features a wider leg and higher waist, but also has a faux button front with functional side zipper. In my experience, sailor pants that actually button up in two rows at the front pooch and pucker, so this is likely a good thing! These are black and are machine washable. Available in sizes 0 – 13. These are juniors sizes, so check the size chart before ordering!
Nautica Slim Sailor Pant – was $89.50, now $64.99
Traditional sailor pants have wide leg styling, but since that doesn’t work for all tastes and figures it’s nice to have a slimmer alternative. These guys have actual functional buttons in case that’s a deal-breaker for ya, and they’ve even got anchors on ’em. Available in sizes 4 – 14.
Maxstudio Delavé Linen Sailor Trousers – was $148, now $118.40
with code MAXOFFERS
Allison was actually hoping for linen, and this pair is by far my favorite of the night. Even though I know they’ll look like this for about 10 seconds before wrinkling. This pair has a lower rise and functional buttons. Available in oatmeal and navy in sizes 0 – 12. Maxstudio runs small, so check size charts.
Other not-currently-on-sale resources for sailor pants:
- Modcloth – Some are sailor-esque skinnies with button detailing, but these navy widelegs are the real deal and only $59.99.
- eBay
– Mostly used, of course, but great variety of sizes, fibers, and colors.
- Dillards – Only two styles, but both cute! The ones above and these off-white ones.
- Nautica – Clearly. The Nautica site has two additional great styles in classic cuts.

Thank you, Sally! That was some really amazing, fast response time. Can’t wait to try some of these out.
Love this style!
I don’t *need* any sailor pants…but I want all the sailor pants!!
