*In this late-night feature – which will run on Tuesday and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*
Kimberlee requested a few picks for shaped (not straight or boxy) tunics, so here we go:
Boden Pretty Gathered Tunic – was $98, now $49 – $83.30
with code 9F2G
This was a tall order, friends, so I can see why Kimberlee asked for help! This empire-waist tunic is one of the best options I found, and I do love the spring-y prints, 3/4 sleeves, and V neckline. Available in this coral print as well as a steel blue version of the same print, a geometric print in turquoise or cornflower, solid black, or solid navy in sizes 2 – 18 including some petite and long lengths. Size availability varies by color. This tunic only comes in solids, but is a similar shape and available in sizes 12 – 32.
Land’s End Embellished White Tunic – was $79, now $49.99
Shirt-style tunics can be quite boxy, but this one has some shaping details and looks more fitted than tent-like. Reviewers have noted that it’s quite sheer, so you’ll need to do a cami underneath … but I find that’s the case with virtually all white woven shirts. Available in sizes 2 – 18 as well as petite and plus sizes. Also like this white shirt tunic with pleat details in regular, petite, and plus, though limited sizes. Land’s End also has this comfy-looking knit tunic in regular, petite, tall, and plus that gets rave reviews, but might be more drapey than shaped (use code KNIT35 and pin 8413 for 35% off this one).
Exofficio Fionna Tunic – was $75, now $50.25 – $60
with code 1STFASHION
I own this tunic in black, and ADORE it. Depending on where you live a cowl neckline might not appeal just now, but it might be worth your while to stash this one for next fall. It has a shaped bodice and visible seaming that give it an even more defined silhouette. Available in this purple as well as black/gray or dusty rose in sizes XS – XL. Size availability varies by color. This tunic is a bit boxier, but also cowl-necked and available in sizes 14 – 28 in five colors.
Le Château Crêpe Sleeveless Belted Tunic – was $59.95, now $29.99
And on the opposite end of the spectrum, here’s a lightweight sleeveless tunic for layering or warm-weather wear. This style looks fairly shaped to begin with, but belted tunics are always a great option if you feel like most shapes are too loose and formless. Available in this blue as well as navy or beige in sizes XXS – XXL. Size availability varies by color. Nothing truly similar, but this sleeveless tunic is available in sizes 1X – 6X in 14 colors, and this belted style comes in sizes 1X – 6X in four colors.
Other not-currently-on-sale resources for shaped tunics:
- Boden – Boden tunics are like short sheath dresses, so they may be TOO shaped for some. But they’re darned cute. Love this sassy Breton tunic.
- Land’s End – Lots of options in addition to the ones above, though I’ll admit it can be hard to tell which ones are shaped.
- eBay – Search for belted tunic and slim tunic for options.
