*In this late-night feature – which will run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*
Kristen requested a few picks for solid color peplum tops, so here we go:
Green Envelope Back Zip Short Sleeve Peplum Top – was $88, now $39
If you’re looking to experiment with a peplum silhouette but not quite ready to show it off solo, this short-sleeved option will allow for cold weather layering. Throw a structured blazer or military jacket over the top and let the peplum peek out subtly. Available in sizes XS – L in bordeaux, cobalt, and black.
Bar III Three-Quarter-Sleeve Peplum-Hem Top – was $59, now $39.99
For a simpler option, this three-quarter sleeve version can stand alone. Add simple bracelets and a statement necklace for a dynamite outfit. Or pair with a bold colored pencil skirt like Allie did with hers! Available in sizes XXS – L.
Crepe Peplum Top – was $78, now $59.99
And for the most coverage, long sleeves! Made from rayon/poly crepe, this style will likely have an elegant flow and drape. To emphasize your waist further, add a contrasting belt as shown here. Available in sizes 0 – 18.
Peplum Blouse – was $68, now $44.99
Since the other three are all of a kind, here’s a peplum top in a distinctly different style. This offering has a considerably more drapey, blouse-like look and is less clingy than tonight’s other picks. It also features a deeper neckline, which will make it flattering on many mid to larger busts but also means it may require a cami for work wear. Available in sizes XXS – XXL in this gray, burgundy, and emerald green. Also available in petite and tall sizes.
Other not-currently-on-sale resources for solid color peplum tops:
- Modcloth – Plenty of quirky prints in the mix, but a few lovely solids, too. This raspberry jersey one is so chic.
- Anthropologie – Selection includes sweaters, jersey knits, and jackets.
- ASOS – Again, lots of prints and a rather surprising number of peplum bustiers, but there are basics to be found including lots from the plus/Curve line.
- Urban Outfitters – Most solid options are sleeveless, but this half-sleeve ponte style comes in seven colors.

Sal, I’d love to see some picks for real wrap dresses. Lately, I’ve only seen half-wraps, and I don’t find them nearly as flattering or forgiving.
Thanks!
Sure! Did one back in March, but will try again soon. https://alreadypretty.com/2012/03/insomniac-sale-picks-wrap-dresses.html
