*In this late-night feature – which will run on Tuesday and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*
M Van requested a few picks for sweater dresses, so here we go:
Boden Lucinda Knitted Dress – was $198, now $158.40
with code 7S8Z
For years, full-skirted sweater dresses were impossible to find, but the market is glutted now! This little Boden number caught my eye because it has a belt-like stripe at the waist which means you get all the accentuation with none of the squeezy-ness. Available in this herringbone as well as ivory/navy herringbone, gray stripe, or navy stripe in sizes 2 -18, including some petite and long sizes.Size availability varies by color. This similar style is available in sizes 1X – 3X.
Lauren Ralph Lauren Sweater Dress – was $144, now $84.99
with code GOBBLE
If you’re looking for something a bit more form-fitting, this cowl-necked dress is a great choice. The body is definitely fitted, but the high cowl neckline prevents it from being super revealing. Available in this burgundy as well as gray, charcoal, or ivory in sizes XS – XL. Size availability varies by color. This similar style is available in sizes 1X – 3X.
Eliza J Fit & Flare Sweater Dress – was $98, now $58.80
SO CUTE. Another design with a waist-accentuating design, but this time with bold stripes. Looks great with simple pumps, but could also be paired with chunky boots and a moto for an edgy twist. Available in sizes S – XL. Not exactly the same, but this similar style is available in sizes 1X – 3X.
Dress Barn Marled Belted Sweater Dress – was $48, now $38.40
with code ALLFORYOU
Lots of neutrals tonight, I know, but had to throw this dress into the mix! I love the longer skirt length and elegant belted shape. If you’re not a fan of the belt itself, swap in one of your own, and the cowl neckline is actually a removable infinity scarf. Available in sizes S -XL, as well as plus sizes.
Sustainable resources for sweater dresses:
- Eileen Fisher – Gorgeous, artistic cuts in high-quality sweater knits. Check eBay for used/cheaper options.
- Ash & Rose – Several cute and stylish options like this angle-hem tunic dress.
- Everlane – Several sustainable sweaterdresses, and I can say that my waffle tunic would be long enough to be a dress on more petite frames.
Other not-currently-on-sale resources for sweater dresses:
- Macy’s – This department store excels at a few select things and for whatever reason, sweater dresses are among them.
- ASOS – HUNDREDS of options including regular, petite, and tall sizes. Love this distressed/ladder stitch sweater dress.
- New York & Co – Mostly body-con, but a few less clingy styles, too!
