*In this late-night feature – which will run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*
Amanda requested a few picks for sandals comfy enough to take on a trip that involves lots of walking but cute enough for a casual night out, so here we go:
ECCO Bouillon Band Ankle-Strap Sandal – was $150 , now $99.93 – $139.97
With wide, soft straps, a flat sole, and flexible rubber sole for excellent traction, this pair will be comfy for long days of walking. It’s also stylish enough to pair with sundresses for nights out. Available in black and light gold (looks pewter to me) in Euro sizes 35 – 42. Size availability varies by color.

Softwalk Tahiti Sandal – was $89, now $39.99 – $53.28
This brand designs with comfort in mind and the Tahiti sandals feature genuine suede linings and a molded EVA footbed. The studs make them feel dressy and trendy, but the design should keep your feet happy on long walks. Available in brown, black, silver, and metallic multi in US sizes 5 – 12, including some wide and narrow widths. Size availability and price vary by color.
Naturalizer Weslie Sandal – was $69.99, now $51.85
I’ve got a pair of Bass sandals similar to these and adore them, but that style (Margie) gets dreadful reviews for long-term wear. These soft-soled Naturalizers get higher marks for both comfort and durability. Available in black, brown, tan, coral, pale blue, pale green, sand (shown above), orange, and seafoam in US sizes 5- 12, including some wide and narrow widths. Size availability and price vary by color.
Other not-currently-on-sale resources for cute, walkable travel sandals:
- Clarks
– A reliable brand for comfort and style. Love this pair
. Also check 6pm for more styles.
- ECCO
– I’m a recent ECCO convert, and may bring my tall boots on my next long trip. In terms of cute, walkable sandals this t-strap pair looks promising.
- Naturalizer
– Known for making amazing heels, Naturalizer does flats right, too. This pair
would work equally well on long walks or nights out.

Oh, this is perfect! I’m trying to find sandals and shoes for a trip to Paris in August—and it’s been an uphill battle!
Thanks so much! All of these are very tempting. Softwalk is a new brand to me and I’m always on the lookout for comfy shoes, so that’s exciting.
And those Ecco t-straps are just adorable. I have a dressy pair of t-straps and that style looks really good on my feet.
I’m a big fan of Merrell for walking sandals. Not always super cute, but my Merrells got me thru the summer after bunion surgery.
My all time most comfortable sandals are from Minnetonka Moccasins! I buy them in the bait shop by my parents cabin and have gone through like three pairs in seven years – because I wear. them. OUT in the summer. The flip flops win – http://www.famousfootwear.com/en-US/Product/94265-1026862/Minnetonka+Moccasin/Pewter/Womens+SILVERTHORNE.aspx?campaign=Minnetonka+Moccasin&catalog_name=web&CMP=KNC-adwordspla&cpc=adwordspla&gclid=CNjD9Lfa-rUCFahDMgodyH8AeQ&partnerid=adwordspla
Thanks! This is my eternal quest, & I struck out last year. Perhaps one of these will work 🙂
