*In this late-night feature – which will run on Tuesday and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*
Audi requested a few picks for tall and short boot styles with wide footbeds, so here we go:
Cole Haan Jodhpur Boot – was $348, now $155.99
Pickings are somewhat slim, but now is a fantastic time to nab great deals on tall boots for spring and next fall. These gorgeous Cole Haans come in 2A, B, and C widths, and although they’ve got a 15″ circumference, wide elastic panels mean they’ll have a bit of give for wider calves. You all know I love a cognac boot, and this one is classic and versatile. Available in US sizes 5 – 12 in cognac and black, most sizes available in wide widths. Size availability varies by color. Note: These are quite tall with a 17″ shaft.
SoftWalk Bellville – was $149, now $104.99
These fabulously badass moto boots come in AA, B, D, and EE widths! And get high marks for comfort and design from customers. Shorter boots – even black ones –are a great choice for transitional weather, since they provide a bit of much-needed warmth with slightly less coverage. Pair these with black tights and a funky dress for now, and everything from sundresses to shorts once it warms up. Available in this slightly distressed suede and black leather in US sizes 5 – 11. Most sizes available in D or WW width. Size availability varies by color. 8″ shaft on these. Also in brown over on 6pm for $59.99.
Timberland Earthkeepers Stratham Heights – was $200, now $119.99
I feel like a broken record, but PEOPLE THESE BOOTS ARE AMAZING. (See mine here.) Gorgeous colors, incredibly well-made, very comfy for a heeled boot, and – the real clincher for me – waterproof. I did end up buying the Timberland Balm Proofer to make extra super sure, but these boots are designed for wet and sloppy weather yet are sleek enough for work wear. So very, very worth the money. Available in US sizes 6 – 11 in cognac, black, and dark brown, most sizes available in D widths. This is a great boot for folks with shorter calves at 14.5″ tall. Also comes in an ankle bootie. Timberlands tend to run narrow, so if you take a WW or anything above a C width, these wides may not be wide enough for ya.
Sofft Padma – was $149.95, now $81.99
Such a great little bootie with a slightly cowgirlish flair, but not enough to be costume-y. These will look equally great with cuffed boyfriend jeans and flirty dresses. Available in US sizes 5 -11 in taupe suede, steel gray suede, black suede, and black leather. Most sizes available in wide widths. Size availability varies by color. 6.25″ shaft.
Other not-currently-on-sale resources for boots with wide footbeds:
- Naturalizer – I adore this brand for quality, comfort, and great design. Most boots and booties come in wide widths, including these sleek riding boots.
- Rockport – Limited styles at this point in the season, but several gorgeous options in W and C. I’d wear these ankle booties in a heartbeat.
- Clarks – Lots of ankle booties, but a few tall shafts, too. Wide and extra-wide footbed options.
- Timberland – Great quality and comfort, plus many styles are waterproof! I also own the Rudston and adore the style.
