Recommended Reading: Not Dead Yet Style

Even if she ONLY did her weekly roundup of outfit posts by stylish older women who struggle to feel visible, Visible Mondays, I’d have to give Patti some serious credit. But no! She also posts thought-provoking essays on beauty, body image, aging, and style rules; she shares her fun and funky sense of style through outfit posts; and she shares great product finds. Her blog is chock full of great information and valuable insights.

Not Dead Yet Style is a fabulous read – do check it out.

Aww, thank you Sally! I am honored. Even though I’m old enough to be your mum, I think of you as a Big Sister who’s taught me so much about blogging. Many, many thanks!

Thanks for the recommendation! I just spent the past hour reading her blog/archives — I think I’m obsessed with her writing style!

Sally, thanks for giving Patti’s blog a nod. I have become involved in Visible Monday and I am having a LOT of fun with it. Both you and Patti have helped me to feel better about accepting where I am at in my life and living it to the fullest, at least fashion wise. Thanks!

what a wonderful plug for Patti and I have to agree that the Visible Monday event is a great way to meet fellow bloggers.

I LOVE that you post Recommended Reading on the weekends, especially since most of the blogs I love only have a Monday-Friday posting schedule. By posting things I haven’t read yet, you often save me from the Sunday night “there’s nothing left to read on the entire internet” feeling I get.

Yet another reason I love you and your blog Sal, keep on rocking it.

Every week I participate in Patti’s Visible Monday, and I think she deserves every bit of attention that she get’s!

I do have to say though, that I don’t think I’m struggling to be visible. It’s more like a celebration that I’ve become visible! And I have to thank both you and other bloggers for that, giving me the inspiration and confidence to change!

Patti is lovely, inside and out. I enjoy all of her posts, no matter what the topic. What I find even more amazing (and amusing) is that she doesn’t seem to have a clue what a gorgeous lady she is!
