I’m so happy to be here with you again as a Guest Contributor on Already Pretty! The Fall season is well underway, but I can’t help but think back on how sweet this past Summer was 🙂 Yes, Sweet Summer 16! How was your Summer? Perhaps you took an exciting Summer vacation? Or maybe you finally finished that project you’ve been working on? Did you enjoy some down time, perhaps using it as an opportunity to unwind and reconnect? Me too!!! LOL! Yes, Summer is the stuff that our dreams are made of <3
Of course, as a fashion lover, I’d be remiss if I didn’t think back on Summer fashions. Truly, I thoroughly enjoyed basking in Summer fashion this past season. Today I’m sharing a few of my favorite Summer looks with you. Which look is your personal favorite?! I couldn’t settle on just one 🙂
Lately I find myself busy transitioning my Summer pieces to Fall, and I must say I am having a great time doing so! Did you have a Summer fav and or staple item? You can carry it with you on over into Fall! With layers, just about any combination becomes a possibility. I live in a mild climate, where seasons can vary greatly from day to day, actually even within the same day! Moving West triggered me to begin my master session on how to apply layers to every situation- LOL!
Warning: I previously admitted over on my blog how infatuated/enamored I was/am with the cold-shoulder frenzy. Please note exhibit(s) a, b, c, and d pictured below… Not to fear, I won’t miss cold shoulders in the new season. I’m transitioning several pieces right on over into Fall 😉
I’m Joi and I blog my personal style via In My Joi. I’ve always enjoyed dressing up, yet notably, my personal style took on new dimensions when I hit my 30’s. You’ll find me saturated in bright colors, draped in vintage, and topped in hats. Occasionally I venture off to black and white combinations or take a playful dabble in mixed prints. It has been said that style is a way to express who you are, without having to speak. I wholeheartedly concur. Each day of life offers up a blank canvas, a fresh opportunity to use style to express different dimensions of my authentic self. Join my style adventures via Instagram, Tumblr, Twitter, or Facebook!
