I have no idea why, but I tend to reach for colors on weekdays and neutrals on weekends. This earthy neutral mix felt perfect for a Sunday filled with errands. It was, however, the last time this thrifted cardigan got worn as something in my washing machine tore a giant hole in the shoulder that couldn’t be mended. Sigh. Three of the biggest, most popular Minneapolis art fairs all take place on the first weekend of August. That’d be the weekend that concluded yesterday, for those keeping score. I nabbed this belt and another in a different color from Tom Thomas, a vendor who cut it to size right there in his booth. Gotta love THAT. read more
